Years ago, I went to my usual fabric shop and these colorful stripes caught my eye. I knew I wasn’t going to upholster anything with it, but I bought two meters anyway (for me, the minimum amount of fabric needed to make something striking).

The result was this suit, made up of a straight mini skirt and a jacket with three-quarter sleeves.

The skirt has darts on the front and back, and it opens on the side with an invisible zipper and a hook. The waistband is finished with red bias tape.

The jacket, despite not having darts, fits quite well because it was patterned to my measurements. It’s also unlined and finished with red bias tape to match the skirt.
